The location

Was very dirty … dead flies in fridge, holes in bedding , stains on sofa. Only one towel was provided - there was no shower curtain so had to use the one towel to dry and clean the floor as shower was wet , when arrived there were hair and plastic in bath showing that it hadn’t been cleaned, €250 for 4 days was definitely not worth it.

As it was a very hot weekend the air conditioning in the room was perfect for me

The price was a bit higher then the rest of surrounding properties as it was last minute I didn’t have a choice but after all it was a good choice

A truly exceptional Soviet experience. As a couple born in Soviet Ukraine & communist Poland it was a blast from the past for us. After being greeted by a local cockroach we were welcomed to the unique combination of authentic 80s/90s facilities, not renovated since being produced, filth on all surfaces (incl. walls with what looked like puke stains), a fascinating variety of local flora growing on the bathroom tiles & in the fridge, a used tissue under the sheets, some brown droppings under the bed, the curious sticker on the bathroom wall advertising "anti-plague services"... We even had a choice between playing an advanced version of "the floor is lava" with all the surfaces, or bringing home one of the many advertised plagues. Using the common kitchen is an adventure of its own - spent some 3 min just to clean one knife to be able to use it. To complete the picture, the reception - conveniently located in a supermarket nearby - was operated by a Russian lady, angry at life, clearly unhappy she had to be there and - to make things worse - work with people (even before she found out my fiancée was Ukrainian). So if you want to see and feel how things were like back in the Soviet Union then you're in for a treat!
