It was clean

This should be advertised as a room within a house. To access the lovely roof top terrace you go through the owner suite, a little awkward. B&B suggests breakfast service but that is not offered despite the pictures. We had no heat and cold showers on the 2nd morning. It was 8 am so well before our required departure. Thin walls, no extra bedding offered, not ideal for sleeping but earplugs did help. The shower space was tiny. Also, the steps are steep and narrow, could be an issue for some.

Wanda was such a delight to finally meet after months of planning. She provided great restaurant recommendations and even gave us a great idea to visit Portofino for the day! Her details for the train and bus were spot on! The room was clean and tidy. We had a fabulous time in Cinque Terre! Thanks Wanda!

Clean, central location. Wanda, the owner, was very helpful suggesting restaurants, excursions etc. she also invited us to use her rooftop lounge and kitchen where we could make a late afternoon tea or coffee and use the refrigerator there.

I wish there had been a coffee maker and mugs in the room.

We had a nicely decorated, spacious room and the terrace area upstairs was lovely. Wanda was a brilliant host - she arranged for a doctor to visit our room when my partner needed medication and regularly checked if we were ok. She also gave us an umbrella and poncho when we were leaving during a thunderstorm!

Location was perfect. Bed was great. A/C was great.

Fantastic location , and wow , what a roof terrace , perfect place for us , we walked barefoot to the beach in the morning , had a swim and walked back , only minutes . Ok , the room was a little small , but fine for us . nice and clean and a very nice host . We would highly recommend .

Aircon could have been a bit quieter.

I stayed at Solemare last week and had an absolutely wonderful time! The location was very central and easily accessible to all of the great things in Monterosso! The room was clean, comfortable, roomy, and we were very very pleased during our stay. Wanda was an exceptional host and was always available to answer any questions we had. Additionally, the rooftop was a great perk and such a lovely view to go up and relax! Thank you Wanda!
