Frühstück war sehr gut

Great location between the lake and the mountains, nature, place on the cycling path, large parking, staff, cleaness, well reachable from the highway, room for bikes, breakfasts. For hungry people there is a beergarden with traditional musical performance at the same peoperty. We had a shared bathroom and toilet but it was completely fine and always clean!

Early noice in the morning in the hall which you can hear through your door. Also some visitors with a dog were not empathetic to other guests but I expect it is not everytime. We also felt cigarettes smell in our room coming from people sitting outside the house.

Spacious apartment, perfect for our family, with separate bedroom for kids and adults, large living room and a well equipped kitchen. Large bathroom with both shower and a bathtub. Plenty of space for parking, and bike storage. Very quiet location with a view of the mountains, and a balcony for enjoying our morning coffee. Restaurant and Biergarten with good food and some Bavarian dishes too (but closed on Mondays and Wednesdays). Supermarkets easily reachable by car or by bike. Several bike or hiking trails to follow from the location or from nearby towns. Need a car or a bike to visit Chiemsee lake or reach other places with fun activities for kids. Host was very friendly but speaks mostly German.

The beds in the kids' room were not as comfortable as the ones in the adults' room (per my husband, who was 'forced' to sleep there by our daughters). I hit my head too often on the hood vent above the stove and on the lamp above the kitchen table 🤭 The couch in the living room was not my cup of tea (but the kids loved it, and there's nothing wrong with it, just a personal preference). And there were lots and lots and lots of mosquitoes everywhere in the area when we visited! 🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟

Large, quiet room. Excellent food.
