Hostal Azul y Blanco

I liked that it’s in the town of La Crucecita with lots close by. The staff was excellent! The communal kitchen is well stocked and very clean.

The AC goes on in the dorm at either 8 or 9 pm and is shut off at either 5 or 6 am. There was no relief from the heat during the day and no really comfortable place to sit during the day.

Super clean and well managed with an excellent kitchen, good lockers, plenty of cameras and a nice rooftop terrace.

No laundry but there’s a service nearby.

Great spot ,close to everthing

It’s the most inexpensive place to stay. The place was clean, in the middle of everything.

The kitchen looked unappealing, furniture was worn, the cleaning person stayed in the room puttering around noisily even though guests were trying to sleep, which is unusual for hostels. Her boyfriend showed up to get her late and switched on the light and told her come out. Rude since guests were asleep, and disturbing that a non guest can just walk into rooms. Didn’t feel safe. No air con, small locker just for valuables. I had paid 2 nights but I left after one.

The staff has been very good in cleaning everything, all areas are very tidy, straight away got given good recommendations and room had the right temperature. As well I've been feeling very safe.

Nothing bad to say about the hostel.

Very helpful with booking good tours, and were much cheaper than anything we could find online. Great location easy walking distance to anywhere in town.

The kitchen was very run down and needs kitchenware replaced, and felt like we needed to clean everything before we used it. Fridge was full of what looked to be old food so no room to put anything. Located right beside a sports ground which seemed to be occupied late into the night making lots of noise.

I like the staff, they are very nice and they help you in any way they can. They offer locks so you can put your important stuff like chargers, keys, electronic devices inside the locker.

The place has potential to be more fun, like a roof with drinks or music and still be a place for rest on the night.
