Bamboo Nest

J’ai eu un peu du mal à trouvé ce logement car je suis arrivé très tard le soir et il n’y avait absolument personne dehors. Mais une fois trouvé , on se retrouve dans une véritable petite bulle . Tout est super bien fait ! Les chambres , les décorations dehors le parcours à l’intérieur , on se retrouve dans un petit cocon top ! Il y a beaucoup de chats super mignons pour les amoureux des animaux c’est jauge incroyable . Je n’y ai passé qu’une nuit mais après avoir découvert l’endroit j’aurais aimé rester plus longtemps ! Le monsieur de l’accueil m’a même déposé à l’aéroport à 5h du matin car il n’y avait pas de taxi dans les parages … c’était une intention tellement gentil. J’y reviendrais c’est sûr !

I booked Bamboo Nest by accident as I wanted to book the Bamboo Nest beachfront- the owner is the same for both, so I texted him and he was able to move us to Bamboo Nest beachfront so I can only comment on the Beachfront accomodation. Nice looking houses, clean. The owner was helpful.

The sea is very shallow, low tide- not possible to swim and snorkel really. The kitchen wasn’t the cleanest. Dogs barking and cats meowing all night long. The closest restaurant (international food) is 1.7 km away, otherwise you can eat on the street (Filipino dishes), but not sure about the safety of the food (meat and fish are in the hot sun all day). We were traveling with 2 kids and I would not recommend this for families. We stayed for one night only and then left, even though we booked for 4 nights. We are used to camping in tents and using shared bathrooms but there is nothing you can do with kids in the area.

La limpieza, mucho ruido, hormigas, cucarachas, nos obligaban a ir descalzos por toda esa suciedad, queríamos alquilarles una moto y me pedía mi pasaporte cuando en todos los sitios hacen fotocopias o fotos, y obviamente no le puedo dejar algo tan valioso y personal ya que si me lo extravía, como salgo del país?. Así que nos dejaron sin moto, el camino para llegar horrible, todo encharcado y de barro, en fin… dormimos lo que pudimos y a las 5:00 am nos marchamos.
