Amazing location and cabins

It was a beautiful location, quiet, lots of things to do in and around the camp. I loved the history of the place. Just beauty all around! Close to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid which were fun to explore. Loved the rail trail. No internet access in the cottage which forced us to do other things. We watched a storm over the lake from our screened-in porch. If we had internet we probably would have been watching Netflix and would have missed this experience.

Atmosphere, staff, attention to detail, charm, activities available, on our favorite pond and close to many other kayak adventures, many interesting and nice other guests, homey atmosphere and freedom to enjoy the place as we wished.

Just the location, the authentic facilities, the passionate staff and even the weather.

We did not like going home.

The location is beautiful and I loved my early morning walks by the lake. The views were spectacular, the cabin was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was a magical weekend!

Nothing, it was the best time I've had in years! I hope to return.

Everything is kept and prepared in perfect condition prior to our arrival. We vacation here almost every winter. Always love returning and our stay here.
