Great location, far away from touristic destinations, perfect getaway from the cities and crowded places. The owner was really kind and nice, great food

We were willing to help the turtle project but the girl in charge didn’t explain anything and didn’t bring us around for a tour (and even says hello). If you’re not willing to share your project just remove the sign ‘ask here’.

Lory and her team were so friendly, welcoming, and efficient. They all worked hard to ensure our stay was comfortable. We loved living with all the creatures that also inhabited our bamboo hut i.e. the frog in the bathroom and the geckos in the roof. The food was delicious as well as the cocktails 🍸 The island is stunningly beautiful and I cannot recommend Horizon Eco Resort highly enough. We hope to be back soon. Thanks Lory.

This idillic place is certainly the best option on the island, especially for what concerns the food. The bungalows are very confy and we just had the greatest time here.

Maybe the water pressure could be improved

The host was amazing! Lory did everything for us to have the best as possible stay. The beach was perfect for the kids. We had great tours and a really special time. Thank you for that great experience.

Everything! From Lori and all the staff at the resort to the gorgeous location and its peaceful beach and surroundings. The bungalows are beautifully made and they have all you need and quite spaced out one from each other. We were very happy to have reusable water bottles to refill at the restaurant. Food was delightful. You can use free kayaks to check out the mangroves and explore the little islands. We will come back if we ever travel to Thailand again.

We didn't like that we had to leave 😔 The drain in our room got a bit stuck in the third day of our stay but we think it was because the big pot near the toilet was obstructing the water passing through.

super beautiful place for those of you who are looking for the calm & nature :) you can use kayaks and snorkels free of charge and there are some other activities offered. staff is amazing and food is also super delicious and fresh.

Excellent value for money. Beautiful beachside location. Good well priced food. As other reviews say, Lory is friendly & extremely helpful.

It depends on what level of creature comforts you need / want but the facilities and rooms are quite basic. Cold water showers with minimal pressure. There is a good mosquito net over the bed but the rooms aren’t fully closed in so be prepared for bugs & beetles in the rooms. The main drawback for us was the unpleasant stagnant smelly swamp you have to walk over (on a bridge) to get between the rooms and the restaurant & beachfront.

The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful as is the owner.The location is magic when we were there the weather was transitioning so was still a bit stormy. But the water was a great temperature .

The bungalows are run down . The cold showers were a bit too cold at the time of the year we stayed .(late November) . We really needed slightly warmer bed covering . If the weather is cool would recommend something extra to throw over the bed at night. Allow for a reasonably high cost to eat as all the food is brought over by boat and has to be stored on ice I suspect.
