Villa Aglaini

Die Lage der Villa mit Blick auf die Damouchari Bucht war traumhaft. Das Appartement bestehend aus zwei Zimmern bot viel Platz. Die Vermieterin war eine sehr angenehme und freundliche Person. Vielen Dank für alles!

Wonderful place close to the most beautiful beaches of Pelion. Owners are lovely and very helpful. It’s well shaded, we didn’t even need to switch on the AC. We’ll be back!

I’m posting two reviews because I made two bookings, one for us and one for friends with three kids. As us, they enjoyed their stay. Apartment was spacious and had everything they needed including easy access to the garden for kids. We all loved it!

Absolutely nothing!

Located on the coast of the mountain and having a superb view of the sea, Villa Aglaini is the perfect location for a quiet and charming vacation. The fact that there is a generous parking lot, where several cars can easily fit in the courtyard of the property, was very convenient for us. Regarding accommodation, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, being equipped with everything necessary to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The furniture and equipments of the room are a bit outdated, but for those who do not emphasize this aspect, it is not something that should bother them. Especially since it is compensated by the kindness of the hosts and the superb area where Villa Aglaini is located. The cleaning was excellent, the rooms being extremely clean (every day cleaning, including bed linen and towels changed once every two days). We had an apartment located on the ground floor and thus we could enjoy the sunrise every morning with a coffee on one of the terraces arranged in the villa's beautiful garden, overlooking the sea. The hosts made us feel wonderful, being extremely kind and eager to please us. The nearest restaurant is a few minutes walk. For other alternatives in terms of dining, you have to go by car, no matter if it is in Agios Ioannis or in other neighboring towns/villages – such as Portaria, Makrinitza, (approx. 45 minutes of driving). All beaches in the area, even the closest one, Agios Ioannis, can only be reached by car. Considering the position of it and how crowded it was, we did not go to Agios Ioannis beach at all. Instead, we went to Plaka beach (approx. 30 minutes drive) or Agii Saranda beach (approx. 40-45 minutes drive). For all the reasons mentioned above, we will come back to Villa Aglaini again with great pleasure. I also gladly recommend Villa Aglaini to anyone who wants to spend a real... Greek vacation and feel welcome in this wonderful location.

The sea view is very nice and so is the building itself. The rooms are spacious. The host gave us good advice for places to have dinner.

Wifi connection is pretty poor. Bed comfort is below average and so is the breakfast quality and quantity. The narrow path to the hotel is a bit of a challenge for larger cars.
