Bed too small , feet hang over the end of bed. I’m not 6ft. Noisy at nite

Was near the sea, though there was no view of the sea from the hotel

Congested road, limited parking, difficult to put the car in or take it out. No lift. We had to carry the luggage up the stairs.

Very competent, resourceful and kind staff, willing and able to do anything they can to make one’s stay pleasant — whether adjusting the AC, subscribing to a desired TV channel, or arranging an excellent taxi for a day trip to Kanchipuram at a good price. Very clean, comfortable and well lit, with marble floors, fresh paint and good fans and AC. Superb location 50 meters away from Fisherman’s Beach, a very friendly and interesting area I’ve wanted to stay in for years — clise to the ruins and downtown without its traffic noise, and to many good restaurants and shops recommended for tourists.

It would be great if the top floor open air restaurant were partly a lounging area with large lounge chairs; but this would cut the restaurant’s capacity, as space is limited .

The location is perfect: all good cafes are beside this hotel and it is located in front of the beach. The rooms are clean, the food is good and the staff are very polite.

Clean, simple and well maintained. Michael the owner is a great host and the food is excellent.

The rooms were clean

No service, no facility , nothing you will get there , so carry everything. There is one staff who doesn't know Hindi or English and is very difficult to communicate with. The staff did not even clean the rooms after the first night. Very basic service , no reception , just don't expect anything apart from a clean room
