Muikamachi Hutte

It might very well be the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at. The design is near, it kind of felt like sleeping in a Muji store. There is an onsen too which we desperately needed. View is great,Beds were cozy, Breakfast was delicious, and we got a free shuttle back to the station.

The room heater was pretty noisy, so we turned it on and off a few times.

Beautiful, clean, and spacious rooms with great views of the mountains. Excellent breakfast and really kind owner. You can tell he puts a lot of care into running this place, down to the organic cotton guest pajamas and manga selection. Natural onsen was lovely as well.

This is a family-run guest house and is so cozy and welcoming with lots of manga books in the library. Very clean and comfortable and a nice private onsen

The Japanese style rooms and heated pool Staff were very helpful with shuttle service available when needed.

Common bathroom for all guests. Would have preferred a private bathroom, with optional common heated pool

Great staff and amazing chill vibes in the lounge. I really wished I stayed here longer! The breakfast was really nice and the private onsen can be booked with ease. Recommended and I will definitely visit again.

The town is kinda out of the way, but still great if you are after a town to relax and escape the bustling cities. Plan your meals or book local restaurants if needed.

Love the view and the hospitality! The room & shared toilet were clean and there’s even small onsen (outdoor and indoor) that you can book for private usage for 30 mins-1hr each day. The view from my window was amazing, snowy mountain and trees. The breakfast was super delicious, Japanese food that warmed my heart. Sae and her partner even helped us with the luggages & drove us safely back to the nearest station. Love this place!
