"Lovely relaxed weekend, felt so at home."

Gorgeous location, very comfy and clean, with a great enclosed garden for our dog and none of the usual don’t let your dog do this and that. Our hosts were very welcoming and we would definitely recommend.

"Enjoyable stay"

Spacious accommodation with antique furniture, interesting pictures and objects on display. Secure outside area for our dog, and a quiet location. Suitable for exploring the area by car with Wessex Way, other downland walks & historic towns within easy reach.

Lack of information about heating and hot water settings, which can only be adjusted by the owners. Generally clean inside throughout however some of the kitchen appliances had been overlooked.

"Relaxing - enjoya different pace to life in a comfortable and airy space."

Beautiful location for peace and quiet. The stars in the evening sky were incredible and the home and the outdoor were nice big spaces (dog loved it) and comfy.

Nothing really. Internet was ok and there was a TV but we enjoyed being off grid mostly. You do need a car to get about.

We stayed at the acomodation from January 1st to January 5th 2025 as we were going to be celebrating a special birthday with our family at nearby Winterborne Stickland. The Barn has all the facilities needed for a very comfortable stay, a large lounge with log burner when needed, large kitchen, 2 bedrooms with very comfortable beds, shower room and 2 toilets. constant hot water. Very clean and in good repair underfloor heating kept us warm. Emma , looked after us and we really enjoyed our time at The Barn.

The accomodation was excellent, so we have no dislikes.

"Lovely cottage for a visit to Dorset"

Lovely country location, country chic decor. Cosy place to stay for the night.

Low pressure in the shower and bath plug didn’t quite fit. It was cold on arrival and took a while to figure out the heating system. Once it was on it was great. A bit dusty in the bedroom.
