It was tidy, cosy, easy location.

My room was dirty in places (wall stains, few bugs on the walls). The walls are paper thin, can hear everything.

There wasn’t really much to like. It had running water and a lock on the door.

Bed was uncomfortable, AC was extra charge, pillows were terrible, price was high for such a basic room, shower was mouldy. It’s a shame as with some effort spent on it this place could be nice. But currently it’s a tired old place that isn’t really very comfortable.

There is kitchen and cozy sofa space. Also you can go up to rooftop.

Mattress is not the best but price is cheap so worth it.

Really good location! And great value!! Kitchen and shower could use a little TLC and elbow grease but we still had a great time there!!! Great walking distance from everything! :) Loved it!

Shower and kitchen could be a little cleaner

The only good thing you could say is that they allowed us to drop off our bags before check-in, that the shower had good pressure, and that (thanks God!) there is a Family Mart few streets away.

In all my years travelling, the first place where I really considered just go somewhere else as soon as I checked in. We booked the place especifically because they were advertising diving trips and the possibility to rent a scooter for the day. Well, they don't have the scooter anymore, and don't do the dives either. When we asked them about this (before arrival) they offered a car rental instead, for 9,900yen/12h or 12,000yen/24h, which is more expensive than any local rental! And then we saw that they had posters up in the accommodation offering car rentals for 6,600yen/day!! Extremely confusing and misleading... Anyway, since the had a no cancellation policy, we decided to give it a try. Quite a mistake, we should have cancelled anyway! The entrance of the place is shady, with a pallet against the wall and no apparent upkeep... Inside it wasn't much better, the cleanliness was just inexistent. Starting from the kitchen: dirty sink, the plastic covering the table was broken and extremely worn, the stove was a portable camping gas, quite dirty too. Every visible surface was dirty, the fridge was empty, but smelly and unusable, as soon as you would open the door the entire place would stink to rotten food. The shower room was terrible!! I didn't dare to step on it barefoot, and the walls where really moldy... To switch on the shower light there is a piece of fabric haging of the lamp, as if someone would have ripped a t-shirt and used a piece to replace the original rope. The sink in the corridor would need also a good scrub... The room was really basic, the laminate of the wardrobe doors was falling apart... We got towels but no bed sheets! Just two dusty blankets that were clearly not washed after every guest. There were droppings in the window railings, and cup stains in the window sills. The door curtains needed a good wash too... To sum up: a place that I would not recommend, nor would I stay ever again.

Small, pokey little hostel-type place. But if you can bag one of the cheapy-cheap private rooms, you've got yourself a bargain.
