"My Two Nights at Declan House"

The place is quiet and very peaceful. The sounds of birds and Nature made my stay even more peaceful.

The bunk beds at the entrance gave me a fright.

"Very enjoyable stay"

The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. The cottage was huge and beautiful. The pool was a dream. Would recommend this as a stay over on a shopping trip from Zimbabwe.

"Relaxing after long hours at the conference"

The owner,Doug was very welcoming,he was communicating with us before we arrived in Makhado,so we knew exactly what to expect.The house has a pool but we could not swim due to tight schedule of the conference we were attending. Use an SUV to get to the house.The road is not completely off road but needs a good driver.

The 3 bedroom bungalow was comfortable, clean and spacious. The view is breathtaking. The garden, pool and surrounds well maintained and beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped and our host also provided extra coffee and milk. The beds were comfy and shower was hot hot. Wifi reception excellent. The communication was great and our host responded promptly to any questions. He was very accommodating as we arrived late and requested a later checkout. Overall we felt well taken care of and great value for money.
