From the outside you think..... Uuups But inside very nice!

We received an amazing welcoming from Salvina, the hostess, she served us self made granita and beer on the great terrace with view on the sea. The terrace can be used by all the guests. The well equipped kitchen can also be used by all the guest. Even though breakfast is not included/served, a coffee machine, little snacks and a homemade cake is always being available in the kitchen. The communication was very easy, as her English is every good. Rooms are very modern, well equipped and clean, but rather small. However with the kitchen area and the spacious terrace there is no need to stay in the room. Furthermore we did not book a room with a balcony, but got the free upgrade as not many guests were at the guesthouse. We stayed at "FronteMare" to visit "Scala dei Turchi" which is easily accessible from the guesthouse. Parking Parking spaces are available at the front of the guesthouse.

Salvina is a very lovely hostess, always happy and enthusiastic, we rarely received such warm welcome. She made every effort possible to ensure our stay was very comfortable and she gave us many tips for food, beach and area to visit. The room and apartment are very well decorated and modern. There is also a great terrace with view on the sea, which is perfect while taking breakfast.

Very modern newly furnished room, almost very good hotel standard. Nice size room with private balcony but there is another balcony that all guests can use, the view was better so we used this balcony. Communal kitchen and breakfast room with good facilities and excellent coffee machine. All the area's within the block were spotless clean. We stayed to visit Turkish Steps beach, 2mins drive or very nice 20mins walk with some nice beach bars on the route. Owner was as super friendly, funny, and could not do enough to help. Would stay again.

The apartment was very clean, there was a balcony with a beautiful view. The host was very nice and helpful. She welcomed us on highest level. The kitchen was available for everyone, so you can prepare a coffee or tea there. Beautiful.

The Host lovely and outstanding and extraordinarily friendly taking care of the rooms making a fresh cake in the morning giving tipps for the trips etc. The rooms were absolutely clean and new - The bathroom as well new and all pieces shower, toilette working well. The air conditioning was also new and working well. A small frig was perfect for cool drinks.

It is a great place for sea vacation, 5 minutes walking to the beach. Salvina kindly provides beach chairs and umbrellas that guests may bring with them to the beach. The water was just perfect - warm (mid-August) and clean, yellow sand. The beach line is quite long, so you can choose a place with a bar, beach beds and umbrellas or less crowdy spots where you may bring one of the hotel's umbrella and enjoy the sea with less people around. The hotel itself was perfect for us. It has a very good common kitchen area with a terrace looking to the sea. There is no breakfast option but there is a coffee machine and some snacks available. And I felt in love with Salvina's lemon cake and was amazed at how much Salvina cares for her guests to make it. The room is very clean, with a big bed (maybe 180 cm or so), a refrigerator, and a conditioner. Everything is new and nice. And it was calm at night time which was a big advantage for us. We planned our trip 3 weeks prior with a small hope to find a good place near a good beach as a lot of places were already booked. And I am happy we booked at FronteMare, definitely recommend it.

There is nothing I do not like about the hotel. I liked it a lot. Probably you will be less satisfied if you prefer to have a daily cleaning service. In FronteMare it is like every 3 days but it was more than ok for us. And you can ask Salvina for new towels earlier if you need the change. If you do not have a car mind that there is no big food markets in walking distance, a small one is 5-10 minutes away, with water, sweeties, alcohol, fruits, some veges. If you prefer breakfast out then probably you should research beforehand if there are some options as we haven't noticed any coffee places in walking distance.
