Room was lovely, bed was so comfortable bathroom was lovely with beautiful shower gel with hand wash and hand cream, breakfast was excellent with a good choice with home made granola and marmalade and beautiful fresh muffins every morning, host was so lovely

Beautiful setting in a quiet village, with a very short walk to town — peaceful but still convenient. • Exceptionally welcoming host who went out of their way to accommodate our early starts. • Immaculate rooms — stylish, clean, and well thought-out. • Lovely communal areas downstairs to relax in after a long day. • Flexible breakfast options — the takeaway sandwiches were perfect for our tight schedule. • Great value for money — felt like a proper retreat at a reasonable price.

Honestly, nothing major — perhaps just that we couldn’t stay longer!

Very comfortable, excellent breakfast, home made muffins to take with you. We were there on a very very hot day, but a fan was provided for our room which helped.

A personal thing certainly, but the mattress a bit too soft and bouncy for my liking.

Comfortable room, very friendly staff. Great breakfast and able to accommodate gluten free. Nice little town with the added bonus of open art studios at the time we stayed. Nice local walks. Great location for exploring all the places around the Cairngorms.

No problems
