1) You don't rent the whole apartment like in most other places in the Azores. Only one room if there are two of you. If you want to have your own room, you have to pay extra in cash at the accommodation. This was the only place out of a total of five apartments we rented on our tour of the island that did so. 2) The lighting in the kitchen is cold fluorescent lighting, like an autopsy room, and does not create a cozy dinner atmosphere.

The host is incredibly nice and welcoming, he showed us his garden and gave us tips on what to visit. It was such a calm and stress-free environment, the best start of our vacation. Defenitely recommend.

Great host, very friendly and always helpful.

The check-in process was smooth, the hosts were nice and welcoming. The absolute highlight of this place was the terrace that overlooks the valley, the most wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink. We also appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and very spacious bathroom. This is the perfect place for a budget-conscious traveler who explores the island with a car.

This was not a problem as we traveled by car, but all the services, e.g. grocery stores and restaurants are a few kilometers away.

The host was very welcoming and kind, gave us best tips for the whole island and took great care of us. The apartment's terrace has breathtaking views, you just want to spend the whole time outside enjoying it. The flat has everything you need.

The owner lives in the same house, we didn't mind but some people may.

That was a pleasure to be there. The house is located in very beautiful area. we could drink coffee and have amazing view every morning❤️The rooms were clean, and had everything, what we needed. Jose and Fatima are kind and helpful hosts. The map and all tips were so useful during sightseing Saõ Miguel. We wish that we will meet again, because that wasn't a last time on Azores ☺️

the owners were kind, friendly and very helpful! The apt was very spacious and clean. Loved the outdoor seating/eating area with a beautiful view. Great place to stay for exploring the eastern part of the island!
