Solar do Carvalho

Sehr schöne Lage. Ein sehr guter Lebensmittelladen ist in der Nähe und auch per Fuß zu erreichen. Sehr guter Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft. Gemeinsamer Aufenthaltsraum und eine gemeinsame Küche mit Esstisch. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet, mit Öl und Gewürzen. Das Beste ist aber, dass zum Frühstück alles zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Eier um sich selbst ein Rührei zu machen. Brötchen, Butter, Käse, Wurst, Marmelade, Obst, Tee, Kaffee, Saft, Milch und auch Kuchen usw. Und wer dringend mal paar Sachen waschen will, die Gastgeberin hat es mir angeboten. Ich kann nur vielen Dank sagen, war fast wie zu Hause :-))

Der Duschkopf hat das Wasser sehr ungleichmäßig abgegeben. Meckern auf hohen Niveau :-))

Alles war Supergenial und außerordentlich sauber. Helenas selbstgemachter Kuchen und der Honig der in eigenproduktion von ihrem Mann hergestellt wird sind Extraklasse. Auf Madeira sollte man diese Unterkunft nicht verpassen😇🥳☀️

Hilfsbereite Gastgeberin und super saubere Zimmer, sowie eine schöne Gemeinschaftsküche mit leckeren Frühstück! Alles sehr sauber.

Die hellhörigkeit der Zimmer sowie das Heizkörper zum trocknen der Handtücher nicht funktioniert haben.

The room and house ticked all the boxes in terms of comfort, amenities, space, cleanliness and quiet, but for me the real delight of my stay was the people -- Helena, the host, principally, who was friendly, welcoming and clearly took pains to make sure her guests felt at home, and the other guests, all of whom (when I was visiting) happened to be easy to engage with and interesting.

The only negative was that I had to leave.

The house is perfectly located close to the northern coast, with one less frequented levada being located just a few footsteps away. The house and rooms are kept in a sparkling condition and the owner and the cleaning lady were very quick to respond to any questions or queries we had. The common areas are inviting for an evening chat or sharing experiences in the morning at breakfast. Our room came with a terrace that overlooked the valley and mountains, which was a wonderfully sight to wake up to. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Solar do Carvalho and can highly recommend it.
