"Just the peaceful place I needed."

Traditional German breakfast. Everything freshly laid out. The landlady even did some washing for me.

Das Haus hat sehr viel Geschichte und somit auch viel Charakter. Die Eigentümer kümmern sich liebevoll und mit voller Hingabe um das Haus.

Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber sehr sauber. Die Einrichtung ist teilweise schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber immer noch gut erhalten. Der Kleiderschrank war nagelneu und modern. Sehr schön fand ich die kleine Kaffee/Tee-Bar mit Kaffemaschine & Wasserkocher, auch wenn ich sie nicht genutzt habe. Das Frühstück war nicht üppig, dennoch war irgendwie von allem etwas dabei und man konnte bei der Gastwirtin auch Wünsche äußern. Ich habe mich sehr wohl und irgendwie heimelig gefühlt.

Herr & Frau Burger were excellent hosts and provided a superb home-from-home experience in very comfortable surroundings. The breakfasts were also excellent and gave us a good start to every day.
