Quiet location, room opening up to an inner court and a nice garden. Spacious room, preceeded by s separate income hall, and large bathroom. Unfortunately, appliances and equipment were deficient or questionable (see below). Clean towels and bed sheets. The Pension is art of a larger "complex), made up by a restaurant and open air seating quarters, linked to a garden and events area with some pension rooms. The restaurant has excellent & tasty lunch time deal. Plus: a safe and secure space to park and stall your bike. Friendly personnel (but strict on checkout time; I ran behand a couple of mintues, and was asked to vacate the room).

Maybe because it was an official holiday (Cyrillus&Methodus), but it too quite some time to get in at the pension house (called 3 times, all doors locked, no English speaking personnel present). The room was certainly satisfactory (spacious and clean), but TV, water boiler (kettle) and shower head all had defects rendering their use difficult (TV, no idea how the TV and decoder combined...), or even down right perillous (the electric kettle leaked water during its operation!). There was a definite lack of sockets: the large desk table held an unconnected/unconnectable lamp and boiling kettle. In fact, you had to place the kettle on the ground behind a sofa chair in order to prepare boiled water (for early morning tea - 2 tea bags provided). During operation, water leaked onto the floor and the appliance itself... (safety risk!). Room walls did not shield you from noises from adjacent rooms (in my case, loud crying and shouting children) during evening and night. Complementary breakfast was very 'petite' (6 small waffles & a coffee) when compared to usual Slovak abundance. That comment is not applicable to daily lunch deal at a mere 6 euros; I had excellent garlic soup, followed by a beef stew with rice; simple local cooking, but great taste!... At arrival, the host's dog had left an unwelcome reminder next to one of my terrace chairs... At my request, the smelly reminder was removed and the terrace rinced (Dakujeme!).
