The location is perfect just the steep on the entrance is not ideal.

The property is in a great location and has a beautiful view overlooking the dam.

Unfortunately, the power went out right as we were checking in and their backup generator was not strong enough or working in order to return power so we all had cold showers and spent our first 24 hours in the dark. We eventually had to end up, checking out and finding a new accommodations because the power was not going to be turned back on.

The location is great and the staff were very accommodating. The breakfast was nice, the bed was comfortable and the TV had a good selection of channels.

The parking was a bit difficult, definitely needs more lighting outside. We stayed in the Blue Room which needs some TLC. The water pressure in the shower needs fixing, and the hot water tends to come and go.

Towels and gowns (bath robes) were all frayed and had holes in them. I think for the standard price of R1400 p.n. new towels can be bought and the old ones thrown out. The lady charged us more for our massages saying that the prices on the list AND the website were "specials" and are not longer valid. I chose the 'neck , back and shoulder massage (30 min)' for R300 , then was told its R350. My partner chose the 'cleansing and relaxing back treatment (60 min)' for R400. He was still charged R400 for only 30min. Could someone please explain to me why this was ??? The Spa Treatments menu needs to be updated and bare minimum stated that it was only a "special" and not the official Treatment menu. Not only once we get there and would like to pay that suddenly the price has increased and the time half. This is false advertising. There were also no slippers provided for the spa.
