Excellent location 50 m from the Fountain at the OldPort of Chania. Kindest staff, clean and well catered for. Thanxs!!!

Probably very difficult to park a car if you rent one. But at the summits of Old Port walking streets this is to be expected.

Traditional Chania apartment with lots of "extras" and a good balcony but it is small. Host Mikaela very friendly and communicative. Superb location

Choosing to stay at Dimitris' Castle Inn turned out to be the biggest surprise of our trip to Greece. We had seen photos beforehand and knew it was a hotel near the center of the port fountain with relatively old facilities, so we mentally prepared ourselves for possibly less-than-ideal conditions. However, we were completely caught off guard: as soon as we arrived, we received the warmest welcome from Mihaela. Seeing the two of us women with lots of luggage, she didn’t hesitate for a second to take all our bags. Like Popeye the Sailor, she led us straight up to Room 13 on the third floor in one go, then enthusiastically helped us settle in and gave us an introduction, fearing she might neglect us in any way! In the afternoon, I went downstairs planning to ask about travel guides, and unexpectedly met the hotel owner, Dimitris. He greeted me in the most unexpected way! He said that if I could return to the hotel at 3 p.m., he would be happy to drive us around Chania. As a result, he drove with us from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. straight. Starting from Profitis Ilias Hill, he turned into our tour guide and exclusive driver. Later, he took us to two beautiful beaches, and to our greater surprise, drove us for over an hour up to the mountains near Chania—our eyes were filled with olive trees, orange trees, avocado trees and pomegranate trees. And the biggest highlight of all? Dimitris even took us to a unique mountain-top farm, where we enjoyed the most distinctive local grilled lamb chops! He also insisted on paying the bill without letting us argue! We were completely infected by Dimitris' enthusiasm, straightforwardness and free-spirited nature. Never had we expected that a random choice would bring us countless surprises. I love Greece, I love Chania, and I love the people living on this land even more! One last thing to add: Castle Inn is like another home for me in Greece, and I will definitely come back!
