"Beautiful property with gorgeous views"

We had the most amazing stay at Casa do Poço. The house is huge, clean and very comfy, stocked with everything you might need. The view from the terrace is beautiful, we loved sitting out there with a glass of wine. We did a tour of the vinyard with the owner, it was great to learn more about how a family vinyard runs and the wine is delicious! We came with our 6 month old, who was very well catered for. Cannot recommend this place more! We hope to be back!

"Beautiful house, great hosts and stunning location."

The location is absolutely stunning. The house itself is even better than the pictures and the hosts were great. Be sure to try their wines. We especially enjoyed the port.

I thought the bed that we slept in was too firm but our daughter had no complaints about hers.

The family is very lovely people. I had the opportunity to stop grapes I will go back there in a heartbeat. I feel like I have made some friends at Casa do Poco.

stone cottage was amazing, location and scenery spectacular, pool most welcome at the end of a hot day

"Dream-like vineyard home in the Douro"

This stone house is in a dream-like setting in the middle of a vineyard. A perfect weekend getaway to do some wine tasting. They make their own fabulous wines and also provided a welcome drink of their licor generoso (it was delicious!) A great base to explore nearby vineyards. Lovely host and was very communicative and helpful. If you're in the Douro, you must stay here if you want a truly authentic experience!

What a wonderful place, the location in the vineyards is amazing, so peaceful. Celeste and her husband were so welcoming. We started with a tour of the working vineyard and a taste of the current vintage in different stages, which was so interesting. Then we relaxed in the wonderful house that had everything we needed. Celeste gave us lots of recommendations for our time in the Duoro, we just wish we had more time to stay. Highly recommend but note it is not close to any restaurants so bring your own supplies and enjoy.
