Coco Viejo Posada

Buena ubicación, muy cerca de Mazunte, personal muy amable, te dan muchas recomendaciones de lugares para visitar e ir a comer.

No me gustó que queda cerca de la carretera y hay mucho ruido de autos en la noche, los 3 días que estuvimos ahí no limpiaron la habitación a pesar de que lo reportamos, La puerta de la habitación tiene una ventana sin cortina que me fue incomoda para nuestra privacidad.

The couple who live at the premises and own the place are the perfect hosts. They clearly enjoy running the hotel and do what they can to spoil the guests. Breakfast is delicious and varied. The place is very clean and well kept. The pool is just perfect! Good wifi everywhere on the property.

The room gets very hot to a degree where you can't use it during the day. At night it's tolerable with the fan on high. A lot of animal noises during the night - especially dogs barking and roosters crowing.

If you want feel like you are belong and like you are visiting family, this is the place! We enjoyed Rita and her daughter’s company so much! They made us feel like home. I had a sore throat and Rita took care of me that day, thank you so so much! Absolutely amazing homemade breakfast! Rita will have best places in mind for you to visit too. We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you!

If you are a sensitive sleeper be aware of dogs and roosters at night, bring earplugs.

It was very very hot in those rooms!...no ac no swimming pool..it was broken..but they never mentioned that until after we paid....rooms were boiling hot...they were worst than a sauna.....we left that same day..we did not stay at all the night...just three hours there we were drenched in sweat.. imagine the whole night....do not stay here...there are waaay better hotels at the same price or better with ac..look around before you go to this hotel!

Rita and Abdias are the kindest most welcoming hosts you can ask for. They welcomed us into their beautiful home and we truly felt like we were part of the family. We spent new years with them and they were very accommodating and helpful, and we had some great conversations. The room was clean with a nice clean bathroom and cute coconut shower head. The breakfast was very tasty, as was all the other food they offered us to try. There was a bit of noise from the street nearby but it didn’t bother us too much. It actually felt very relaxing to get back to Coco Viejo after spending the days in Mazunte. We will definitely be back!

The rooms were very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

The Posada is situated next to a busy highway. Noise from the highway as well as the resident rooster made sleep difficult.
