Samana house

- kind host - comfortable accomodation

- hard to get inside when you don’t have internet/ telephone - in one moment for a few hours there was no electricity but it happens in DR almost everywhere

We liked the view and how the owners were nice. She gave us mangos.

The shower didn’t have curtain and the pressure for the water was low.

A little desk or table in the room would have been nice, but no big deal! You should stay there!

A decent place to stay in Samana. The host is super friendly and helpful, and she helped us arrange a trip to the national park. A good kitchen, filtered water is provided, clean room. If you are going to stay in Samana, this was a great option.

Samana was not really our favorite town. We stayed for three nights, but should have stayed one night to go to the national park, and then head over to Las Galeras. This, of course, was not the fault of our host. We spent one of those days renting a scooter to visit Las Galeras instead which was fun and easy to do. Warning: The location is at the top of a steep hill, but it did not bother us. Just be prepared. It's easy without luggage.

Easy to locate, wonderful host, clean and safe. Great view of the hillside town and a bit of the bay. Wonderful value for the cost.

The area is very noisy. Loud music, traffic/motorbikes, roosters, dogs, etc.

The house was beautiful, with a fantastic view and very spacious. There was a problem with our initially booked room and the host was so kind to give us a bigger one (entire apartment) for the same price. Super recommended.
