Casa Caleta Beach

The property is brilliant. It has lots of space, and contains everything you would need. Kitchen has loads of equipment and appliances if you are planning to cook a lot. The bathroom was supplied with plenty of towels and bedding was perfect. Communication with the host was top all throughout the experience, and entry to the house was easy and straight forward. Location is amazing as you are right on the beach.. Good for little walks and swimming. The town is out of the way though you will need to drive to get your shopping but for us that’s no problem, and the island is very small so that is not far anyway. You have easy access to the volcanic park and lots of beaches etc.

The only reason I’ve given it 9 and not 10 stars is because of the garden/privacy. If you want a private garden you do not get that here. The house has an outdoor area but is shared with a very active neighbourhood. The way to light and ventilate the kitchen area in the day is using the huge garage door which is lovely, but also reduces your privacy when you’re in the kitchen. The door is brilliant if you’re not worried about privacy but not if you are.

The peace and quite and being with the locals who lived there.nice place to relax. Good you can park car right outside shutter door .nice and dark at night to sleep. Owners very nice. Very safe environment.

Nothing really

We loved staying at this house. It was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the peacefulness and the small village where it is located.

You absolutelly should rent a car if you want to book that accomodation. House is located in the edge of a small town and it is hard to get there via public transport. There are no grocery stores and cafes in the town. Nearest ones are in 5-10 min drive. That makes the place remote and ideal for calm retreat. It is well equiped with kitchenware, has two bedrooms, shower cabin, washing machine and all other objects required for comfortable living and travelling. Wi-Fi is also fine. I didn't experience any problems with Teams/Zoom and other typical applications for remote work. Area itself is gourgeus as everywhere in Lanzarote. However Local beach is rocky and sometimes there is no water during low tide. But famous Playa Famara is just "around the corner" and in ~15 min of calm drive so there will be no problem to take a bath there.
