Viña Camello

The garden is exquisite, the nature, the mountains, the view on the ocean is quite terrific. The place has three “house cats”, they were super friendly to us and they conquered a special place in our hearts <3. Emilio was a great host, he made sure we had a warm welcome, and was checking in at the right times. The tips for the restaurants are amazing!

Firstly I would like to take a couple of words to appreciate an amazing host - Emilio. He is such a nice person, very helpful, even gave us a list of recommendations where to find supermarkets, restaurants, etc. We stayed in Tenerife for 2 weeks. We have changed 3 locations and Viña Camello was our favorite one. As property has only 3 apartments, it is very calm. You can see the mountains and ocean from the pool zone and it is really breathtaking. Apartment is very spacious. The location is perfect, near is Garachico city (city of natural pools) and Los Silos (local town). We travelled everywhere by car. And it has 4 cute cats in the territory, they kept us company the whole 5 days that we stayed here.

We loved everything but those things could be improved: - weak shower stream; - small millipedes in the pool and somehow they got to the apartment so we had to clean them.

The view, the property, the apartment, everything! It's such a peaceful place, very clean, and also very spacious. Love to come back again!

great location, great host, literally on the road from Masca, still high up in the mountains with awesome views and sunsets. the house itself is nice and welcoming, nothing fancy, but u don't go to Tenerife to spend time inside a house. we'd happily go back and recommend to anyone this place.

Host kindly arranged to meet us in person and handover keys and answer any questions we had. The villas are in a quiet area but within easy reach of shops and restaurants, mountains and coast. The valley is a little cooler than other areas but that was a nice change and lower down the mountain is much hotter. The villa had all we needed for a short stay and to do a little cooking. The outside area was lovely and the shared pool and bbq area was a real treat.

This place was so perfect, the views of the surrounding mountains are indescribable and the villa itself is so cute and cosy. Literally nothing to fault! We didn’t have a car and so used the local bus service which is very reliable via Google maps so super easy to plan (they aren’t super regular so always good to work out in advance). 20 minutes on the bus to masca, 40 mins walk downhill to Buenavista del Norte, 20 minutes walk uphill to a little supermarket and restaurants at pal mar. Loads of cute hikes and not too long to walk to the sea either. We cooked a bit inside the villa and also had a bbq one night which was incredible at sunset. We’d then have a bottle of local wine and watch Netflix which is already on the smart tv! There were also two 5 month old kittens that were super loving and cuddly! I would say only stay here if you’re a cat lover as there’s lots around and these two kittens will approach you as they just want to snuggle!! We wish we could have stayed for longer!!
