Große Finca 19Jh, Pool, Terrasse, nahe Santa Cruz

The location was further away from the centre of Santa Cruz than the pin indicated, and I was initially disappointed by this, but the location proved to be ideal. Birdsong was abundant, and the night skies were incredible, and there were some lovely walks within easy reach. The house itself was beautiful, with the thick stone walls keeping the property cool in the day and a perfect temperature at night. Gardeners will note the care that has been taken with the planting and layout. As a wildlife lover, I enjoyed hearing choughs, owls at night, swifts, blackbirds and a myriad of other birds. Some of the lizards in the vicinity were really tame, and would eat bananas from our hands. Our young daughter found this fascinating.

I would have liked the location to have been more accurately described, but having stayed there for the week, I wouldn't have wanted the house to have been anywhere else. Taller individuals might note that older houses have shorter doorways, but my partner was perfectly happy to duck when needed, and the building had real charm.

Special compliment to Ruth, our local contact, who kept arranging things while we suffered a medical emergency, even after we had already left the house. House and location were both fantastic, but Ruth was the best. Thanks a lot, both Ruth and Nano!

The hospital in Santa Cruz...take care that you don't end up there :(

The location is excellent far enough out of Santa Cruz to be quite but within easy reach of the capital. Number of restaurants within easy reach & overall a fantastic location.

Nothing I did not like to be honest, this is my 6th time to La Palma and I would never stay in a Hotel again.

The location is excellent, close to Santa Cruz and many restaurants within 5 min drive. The house is beautiful, authentic old finca. The pool and outdoor eating areas are super useful
