Pazo de San Pedro de Bembibre

La arquitectura, distribución, decoración, definición y adecuación de las estancias. Los espacios exteriores en invierno le aportan una sensación especial. Sin olvidar la profesionalidad y eficiencia de todo el equipo humano de la Fundación y del Pazo.

This is a fantastic 14th Century Villa/ Castle in the much underrated area of Galicia.If you are a UK traveller think Landmarks Trust style accommodation but with great WiFi! The bedrooms were comfortable and clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the pool area is great. Walks on part of the Camino trail into town which has a very good butcher’s , bakers and supermarket.Some seriously good restaurants within 20 mins drive .

Todo. El alojamiento es estupendo, comodo, limpio y precioso. Ramon el encargado estuvo muy pendiente y atento en todo momento. Hemos estado muy a gusto y nos encantaria volver.

We had an amazing week in this spacious, comfortable pazo. The building was magnificent and very tastefully furnished. There were so many places to sit and eat, drink and have fun: the beautiful pool area, the enormous balcony, the courtyard, the huge living room and kitchen...! As well as walking to the local bars, we visited some other stunning places, such as Xorax vineyard and sampled Eli's lovely wine. At the pazo, Ramon was always quick to respond to any of our queries. We would definitely recommend the pazo for a large group who wanted a relaxing and really memorable time.

We were 4 adults and 3 young kids staying for 2 nights. The property was so clean, spacious and well-equipped. Kitchen had all the supplies to make several meals. We enjoyed the pool and sitting outside in the inner patio. It was a hot few days but the place stayed cool. Ramón greeted us and gave us a tour and provided recommendations. Wifi was available, though more strong in certain parts of the house. We used the house as a base to explore Lugo but you could walk into the town of Taboado within 15 minutes (which had a supermarket and other cafes) and drove to Chantado, a bigger town, within 15 minutes.

We've spent a few wonderful relaxing days in this beautiful old pazo (castle). There is much to do and see in the neighbourhood but the castle and it's pool were so tempting ... Spacious, tastefully renovated and staff very charming and helpful. Thank you!
