The views. Convenient, comfortable, spacious rooms, cosy with all the wood. Showers are convenient, plenty of hot water. Host was responsive and open to suggestions. We saw birds of prey from the windows too - a red kite and some owls.

There are a number of small things which would elevate the experience to fantastic. - No wi-fi which is probably the only not-small thing on the list - For a longer stay, it gets dirty and needs cleaning but there is no vacuum. We exchanged messages with the host and they said they will be looking to add one as the carpets are next to impossible to clean with a broom. - Similarly, another set of sheets/towels per room to be changed on the 5th day - Only 1 set of keys is given which is annoying for a group that might be out at different times - Kitchen appliances like trays - we had to buy our own to bake stuff - A coat hanger would be great after entering - A tiny shoe rack would be great after entering - Maybe a way to collect the waste for recycling since this is how it's thrown outside? - It takes a while to warm up the home, so the first night was rather cold (not great with kids). I'd suggest someone putting on the heating before anyone arrives on the same day or at least leave a pack of wood to light up the fireplace All that is a tiny investment (under 100E besides the vacuum which I understand they probably already have) but would really eliminate the negatives.
