Casa Moll. Tradición y bonitas vistas de Alicante

Die Unterkunft hatte eine sehr schöne Aussicht über die Stadt bin zum Meer. Sie war sauber, schön eingerichtet und wir haben uns auch sehr über das Willkommens Körbchen gefreut. Wir würden auch sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Location in Alicante. Proximity to beach and city centre. Good hot water, kitchen facilities. Nice terrace furniture

Access to house difficult for senior citizens. (NOT advised of this). Stairs inside difficult as NO handrail. Health and Safety??? House rather shabby inside and out. One of worst on street. Dead plants spoiled terrace,, burnt out light bulbs inside etc. Third bed not made up on arrival. No bedding found for it. Only contact with agent through WhatsApp, didn't meet anyone

Excellent location. We know the area well. Cleanliness of bathrooms, linen, etc. was good. Bed very comfortable and the shower was good. Kitchen fairly well equipped. We liked the tiled floors and some of the older features of the property and would not hesitate to stay there again.

However, there is a lack of attention to detail and basic maintenance - missing cupboard doorknobs, missing light bulbs, several squeaking doors - all little things which were annoying but could be easily fixed. There were only two mugs - not a problem as we are a couple but the property is for four people. I think what really lets the place down are the plants which are really neglected. Rather than have troughs and pots with dead plants, weeds and rubbish it would be better to just have a smartly painted façade and no plants. I do appreciate (we know from experience!) it is not easy to keep plants looking good without regular attention. Having said all this we would stay at Casa Moll again as it had lots of positive points.

Flawless check-in procedure, good communication. Prime location in Alicante , walking distance to Central Market, shops, bars and restaurants. Tram(metro) station is just around the corner, convenient for longer trips. House is of traditional Spanish design. Even aircon is available we didn't use it, because natural air flow. Large and comfortable bed with few different pillows to choose from. Stanning view from the terrace. Well equipped kitchen and good power shower.

Terrace could have more privacy and some equipment for cooking, bbq. Since water on terrace is available for washing machine, why not install the sink as well. Dishwasher would be the nice bonus. There is always not enough shelves and hooks in a bathroom.

inaccessible…inhospitable…unsuitable for relaxing holiday… the access point to the road was at the top of a hill so steep that taxis flat out refuse to go up so you have to struggle every single time you come and go. Also access road is via homeless/beggar hotspot - on day 2 my wife was assaulted and bum bag slashed. No help from owner at all to find the casa and no help from locals either as we struggled to find it and get to it. Felt so threatened and stressed we booked into a hotel.

Fantastic location just by the castle and the castle gardens. Very nice host, easy to communicate with and there waiting for us with the keys even though we arrived late. Very nice apartment.
