We loved the location, although driving up the very steep and sometimes narrow streets is not for the faint hearted! Once there though you are more than rewarded with excellent views from both the apartment and the 'mirador' which is a short walk further up the hill. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, comfy and cosy, traditional and yet with all amenities, and as the day drew to a close the horses came through the lanes in front of the property. We ate at the Virgen de las Nieves cafe which was maybe 30-50 metres away (flat-ish walk). We ordered the plato alpujarreno which was superb - really tasty, and gluten free was no issue. By that time the sun was setting and we were the only visitors left, the local residents were busy catching up whilst some of the local primary school age kids entertained us all by zooming up and down on their electric scooters. Everyone was very relaxed, friendly and welcoming. Bring a sweater as once the sun dips, the temperature drops.

Otroligt mysig ställe. Tyvärr körde vi fel och riktigt läskigt med så trånga gator och en stor bil 😱 men tillslut kom vi fram. Otroligt mysig litet hus med allt man behöver. Trevlig dam Maria som kom med nyckeln

Was eine außergewöhnliche und tolle Unterkunft. Wir konnten sie leider nur eine Nacht genießen. Überlegen aber schon wiederzukommen. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich lieb. Das kleine häuschen ist mit wirklich allem ausgestattet, was man braucht um sich wohlzufühlen. Wer urige Wanderurlaube liebt ist hier genau richtig. Der Ort selbst eignet sich auch nach einem Städtetrip ganz wunderbar um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Der Ausblick auf die Sierra aus den Fenstern... Unbezahlbar.
