La Casa de la Bombilla Verde

Great location for hikers, very close to the starting point of the trail to Mulhacen.

Final street leading to the property is a bit tricky for a larger car, need steady hands at the steering wheel

Communication from Philipe and Maria was excellent and Maria was so friendly and helpful checking us in especially when we arrive cold from cycling through the snow over the mountain. The location is excellent and the house is full of character a really traditional cosy mountain house.

Being an old house it can get a bit chilly - we asked for wood to light a fire but were directed to go and buy it from a field somewhere in the town. It was raining/ snowing so we just wrapped up. Would have been nice to have some wood available to light a fire without having to go and find it.

Very unique place to stay if you are interested in historical buildings. It has been very well renovated to be comfortable but still feels very old fashioned. Maria Jose was very welcoming.

It was warm even it was showing. We didn't wait long to check-in

The house is very charming and easy to find in a good location in barrio alto. The hot water and shower were great. The host was very accommodating. It was exactly what I was looking for.

Great location at the top of the town, beautifully restored and wonderfully decorated period home.
