The host, Juan, was very kind and supportive all throughout the stay. The villa was very close to the beach that you could hear the waves if you sit outside at the terrace area which was very therapeutic.

We had a wonderful stay in the house. It truly feels like a home, with plenty of leisure areas suitable for a large group. The property was clean and equipped with everything we needed, including a washing machine and dryer, sports equipment, projector and informative leaflets about the Basque Country. Everything was perfectly prepared for our group, even down to thoughtful touches like snacks, cola, and beer in the fridge. The location is ideal—close to the beach, tavernas, metro, and supermarket—yet still peaceful. It’s also within walking distance of the lively Getxo old port. The garage is very spacious as well.

It's not actually by the beach

Extremely friendly and caring host, good price, amazing location, a lot of space. There is a small grocery store 100 meters from the apartment, a beach in 100 meters and a skateboard park. Good wi-fi, comfortable temperature settings inside, personal garage. There is a washing machine and a dryer with everything necessary in hand. After booking I was given all information regarding check in and also places where to go and what to visit in Bilbao.

It was very spacious, comfortable and a great location for exploring the town and beaches.

It was perfect as it was!

Juan is an exceptional host. You cannot find anyone better. The house is clean and spacious and very comfortable, as well as having lovely decor to match the beach location.

There was nothing I did not like. Our only issue was the hills around the location for those less able to manage them, but that is down to personal circumstances.

Super easy, had the code for the lock sent a few hours before arrival. The garage key was inside the house. We also got a video explaining where everything was left. Juan the host is def welcoming and helpful. He was always available and checking in to see if we needed anything. The house has everything one needs to stay in, cooking every meal, and taking it easy. We were 6 friends that were meeting for a weekend and could not have loved it more, there was enough space for everyone. We will def stay there again!

Nothing, it was all lovely

We were a family of 6,including 2 young children.We requested a cot which Juan kindly provided.There was a good size area outside with an awning, where we ate in the evening and the children could play.The bathrooms were fine and hot water was virtually instant!The villa is well located near a beach and the old town.We enjoyed using the metro to explore other good beaches nearby and Bilbao.

A baby high chair would have been useful.A portable gate to stop the young children going down the steps to the lower garden would have been good.
