La Casa de Alicia

I loved the position of the house up on the hill, overlooking the mountains. The roof terrace was great, the main bedroom was comfortable and had a Juliet balcony, the kitchen was roomy and fairly well equipped.

I feel the second bedroom and the living room could be updated.

Beautiful property, lovely people and the area is also great!

This property perfectly suited our needs and the host was friendly, responsive, and all around wonderful. The rooms kept cool during the hot days and the rooftop terrace was a lovely way to soak in the warmth of the day. We had no issues during our stay and we would not hesitate to rebook. It is located within 5 minutes walk to historic sites as well as a number of restaurants with great food and friendly people. Just a heads up- be ready for stairs and steep, narrow streets in the neighborhood.

A great place to stay in a maze of narrow streets close to the castle, with wonderful views of the mountains. Easily walkable into the town and to the beach down lots of steps, with a bus back. The host was very thoughtful and a pleasure to deal with. We would stay here again.

We wanted to stay in an authentic Spanish old house in the old town and the house did not disappoint. It was beautiful with views over the mountains and close to a local shop and a few restaurants within walking distance. The house is simple and authentic and true to its Andalusian style. We felt like we were part of the community and even got to know some of the neighbours. It doesn't have all mod cons, however that is the charm of the place and the walk up from the new town is worth it. Chris and Alicia were wonderful hosts and helped us out on a few occasions and sorted any issues out quickly. They were so welcoming when we arrived.

There was nothing we didn't like. It was fab 👍
