Lanzarote Famara Beach

Die Lage war klasse, da man sofort am alten Hafen und an den Stränden war. Von der Dachterrasse aus hatte man einen wunderbaren Blick über die gesamte Bucht. Das Haus war sehr von den Räumen her sehr großzügig aufgeteilt und es gab drei Bäder, die alle gepflegt waren.

Die Ausstattung war zum Teil etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Great hosts who despite our flights being delayed by 4 hours (so well past check in time provided) waited to welcome us - now in darkness and show us around the property. They were lovely and nice to meet, they also provided fruit and all the basic foods in cupboards which was much appreciated. Property is very nice and spacious, traditional style which we liked, roof terrace with sea views and table chairs up there so you enjoy that too. location is great for the beach - literally 5 min walk or 30 mins if you want reach other end! Real nice little bar just opposite which we liked alot and has food ( really decent pizza and other traditional food ) and beer with lovely staff. I would definitely go back and hosts are very responsive to messages too.

I mean there was nothing we didn't like but just as as heads up to non dog type people there is a quite alot of barking from big dogs in nearby properties. We are dog owners ourselves so didn't bother us but maybe heads up for those who may find this an issue.

The house is huge! The pictures don’t do it justice at all. Perfect for 8 people with lots of space. Very clean and looked after and in a great spot right by the beach. All round amazing!

Perfect location a stone's throw from the beach with plenty of restaurants to choose from, yet with the quiet local feel that we wanted. The town was relaxed and everyone was really friendly. Famara Beach is stunning and it was so much fun to watch the surfers. It was well located to visit attractions all over the island. The property was far bigger than I imagined, very clean, with a stunning roof terrace with sea view and well equipped with everything we needed, and a grocery store just round the corner. The hosts were fantastic and quick to respond to any queries. Tip - log into the wifi and use Google Translate for translation as they spoke little English and we spoke even less Spanish! But this was not a problem. Hosts left fruit, water, juice and tea to welcome us which was a lovely touch. Would not hesitate to recommend this lovely property.

It was a bit of a worry wondering if we would be able to park outside when we got home each day - on the first day we were hemmed in back and front and could not get the car out - although we were happy to relax in Famara on our first day. But the property was so fantastic it was worth it - there was plenty of street parking around if need be.

Great place to stay for a group or a big family - the pictures don't do it justice. It is comfortable and very well equipped. Plus there is a really good reef surf spot just around the corner.

Great space, clean and well equipped. Accommodating hosts. Quiet inside and very close to both the sea and the Main Street in the quiet village of Famara.

only thing missing was a plastic spatula for use with the Teflon frying pans
