The kitchen facilities were excellent, the beds comfortable and the terrace was a real bonus. The location was ideal for our walking holiday and for access to local shops. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here.

Quiet location close to all facilities.

Access to the property from the road was steep, but then everywhere in Competa is steep.

The facility is in a quiet part of the village and there is no parking problem.check-in is easy. The house has a nice terrace.

Wonderfully well equipped, an excellent conversion of a typical Spanish property. The level of equipment is superb, attention to detail equally so and spotlessly clean. Location is very good, the nearest bars and restaurants less than five minutes away, about ten to the centre of the town, with one very minor observation. It’s possible to get your car to within 30 yds or so of the property but it’s also a bit challenging. We didn’t risk it, we parked as close as we could but then had to take our bags about 150 yds or so up a fairly steep incline. If you’re young and fit, no problem whatever. I’m 72, my wife is 69, we’re both fit but even so….we felt it. It wouldn’t deter us from coming back…..but we’d either hire a much smaller car or take smaller bags, or both! Your hosts, Wagih and Michelle, are very attentive and have put a great deal of thought into this property. All around, superb, we can’t recommend it highly enough.

The the quality of the furnishings, fixtures and fittings, the interior design, the terrace, well equipped kitchen, all excellent.

The only thing that stopped it being perfect for us was it could have done with a larger bed. Nothing wrong with the bed that’s there, but we struggled with a standard double. To be fair to the owners, they don’t claim it to be anything other than a standard double so it shouldn’t have come as a surprise to us, but being larger people it just meant we found it a bit narrow.
