Casa Rural el Riachuelo

Caseta de camp al bell mig del Pinar de Garafía- Aïllada, no veus a ningú. La casa és petita però ben equipada i decorada amb molt de gust. Bona ubicació per anar al Roque de los Muchachos. Tot i que ens van donar les instruccions online per entrar, ens vam trobar un assortiment de productes propis de benvinguda (vi, pastís, melmelada i fruita). Durant l'estada, la propietària es va interessar per si anava tot bé.

Tot i que vam triar aquesta ubicació conscientment, s'ha de tenir en compte que per qualsevol cosa has d'agafar el cotxe i conduir una estona. Vam tenir mala sort agafant una onada de calor i això va limitar gaudir més de l'entorn.

Couldn't find a plug for the kitchen sink

The location, furniture, garden, host are all very great. The casa and kitchen are well equipped.

Only Small things: Dull knives, I would even sharpen them myself given tools. 3 pillows for sleeping but all are small and firm. Could be one small firm and one large soft. A lot of harmless millipedes, which often get trapped in the shower. Not a problem but some may don’t like it.

A very beautifully maintained house with all the comforts (including heating and fireplace), surrounded by a lush and fragrant garden, totally quiet and with amazing views down to the sea. The hosts welcomed us with fruit, wine, cake and homemade jam. This is a great place to be if you like to be by yourself and really close to some amazing hikes (La Zarza, Garafía, Las Tricias, Roque de Los Muchachos). The trail to Puntagorda passes right in front of the house.

When it is damp outside some (harmless) millipedes get into the house. Just a side effect of being so close to nature. A lot of the restaurants nearby were closed. And the closest supermarkets are about 8 km away (Llano Negro, Las Tricias), but they are open every day. We didn‘t mind, because we had everything we needed.

Just amazing Out standing Just prefect place to send are final week in la Palam after 3 weeks been here at different location. Stunning views from the veranda and in different levels around the garden. Amazing gardens . Walks in the area well marked and part of the network of walks . Its great relaxing in the evening by wood stove and on the cosy sofa with a glass local wine after enjoying a days walking . Clean tired well stocked with up date facilities
