VILLA PAQUITA

We had a fabulous week at villa paquita, the hosts were fantastic and very welcoming, The villa itself has everything you need including a bbq with all the equipment required and even some beers which was a nice touch. It was very clean and spacious, the pool was lovely to dip into when it got too hot. The villa is in a little community about 15 to 20 minute walk from the marina, there is an aldi only 5 minute drive away. Over all the villa is situated in a lovely quiet spot With volcanic views and pleasant residents. Complimentary WiFi and tv with apps, ceiling fans in bedrooms for a more comfortable sleep and relaxing lighting all round. Would highly recommend and will be booking again.

There's nothing I'd change or complain about.

We had a brilliant vacation in this very clean, comfortable and well equipped villa. The pool was warm in mid April even though it is unheated. The kitchen had coffee, water, beer, salt, olive oil and much more so we didn't have to buy this. There was also plenty of sun cream from other guests. The hosts are very friendly and attentive. The location is safe and quiet.

From the moment we were met and greeted by Gianni and Angela we were made to feel at home, all the amenities at Villa Paquita were explained and any questions answered. The property itself is as or if not better than listed with things updated like shower curtains replaced with glass doors. During our 4 week stay the pool was checked and maintained regularly and the villa cleaned weekly without any extra charge. Grazie mille Gianni and Angela

Beautiful villa with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The hosts were very attentive, friendly and helpful. The villa is part of a small gated development which is very quiet but only a short walk from the marina.

Hosts were fantastic and met us with keys even although our flight was late in. Left us a great welcome pack with essentials needed for the next day. Villa has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday we loved it

Not that it was any hassle but shops were a good 10 mins walk away from villa and taxis were a long wait at times

The owners are very friendly and always ready to help if needed. The beautiful villa has everything you need for an enjoyable family holiday.

Everything we could ask for was there, ranging from excellent internet, plenty of cupboard space, washing machine, dishwasher to anything we could think of in the kitchen such as ice cube trays, lemon squeezer, kettle, microwave… the list goes on!

No cover on the pool, we would gladly have taken that on and off to keep it clean.

The hosts were friendly and helpful. The house was very clean with lots of towels to hand and good location

The weather, the apt has potential with different owners

After seeing the reviews on here I thought Villa Paquita would be a high standard accommodation.  Unfortunately I was wrong. I seriously don't know where the good reviews on here are coming from but they don't reflect my experience at Villa Paquita. If you're thinking about booking this villa you need to know the apartment is literally in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by desolate land. The nearest shop is a 15 minute walk in the middle of nowhere apart from the 4 building sites you pass on your way to it. We didn't feel safe walking so had to drive everywhere. The villa is part of a small gated complex of recently (2021) built properties. In the villa  there's zero privacy as the house next door on both sides and the opposite can see straight onto the balcony and patio. Neighbours both sides and a house opposite have 2 dogs each who spend all day and most of the evening barking across the properties to each other. The owners didn't tell them once to stop or put them inside. One evening we pulled up in a space outside the gate and was verbally abused by an islander shouting aggressively in English for parking outside his house. The parking is not allocated and he didn't own a specific space. As if anti social behaviour from neighbours isn't enough the noise from a building site less than 100 meteres away where they are building 30 apartments for the next 18 months and aren't due to be finished until summer 2025 contributed to ruining our stay.  Work started at 8am and went on until 7pm on some nights with loud vehicles and machinery pouring concrete, angle grinders going all day as well as constant banging on an industrial scale. There was building site dirt and dust blown all over everything outside including furniture, tables etc.  Every day our feet were black from the dirt on the floor both in and outside.
