GBThe house was spotlessly clean and right in the centre of the village. Communications were brilliant. It was a real home from home. The sun terrace was an added bonus.
Not much. One small thing was that the right up said there was a pool and there isn’t. However there is a large municipal pool a short walk away. And the owner provided details of an idyllic infinity pool by the lake a short drive away.

GBThe Casa was very homely & welcoming (the photos don't do it justice!). It was spotlessly clean & comfortable. It had excellent facilities - cleaning products, lots of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, washing machine etc,etc. There was a TV in one of the bedrooms as well as the lounge. Miriam communicated well with us & Francisco greeted us & came to wave us off. I would definitely recommend it & would love to go back.

We arranged beforehandto meet at the propertyat14.00 and to phone15mins before ,which we did.The number given was unobtainable......we eventually had to ring booking.com in Spain who were very helpful.Apparently the property has changed hands ,not given new No.Fransisco arrived an hour later to let us in.The house was very cold,there are a few small electric heaters but even with Fransiscos help we couldn"t get the air con working.The electricity kept tripping out.We never got hot water..just warm.There are steep steps upstairs and to outside terrace,shower tray quite slippy.

IEReally beautiful little house. Francisco who met us to give us the keys was very helpful. We had a lovely time staying in Ardales. Well stocked kitchen.

AUTwo toilets was handy for us and the washing machine and dryer were a bonus. Convenient to walk to restaurants and to drive to Caminito del Rey.
Check in says from 10am and doesn't mention that no one will let you in if you arrive between 3 and 5pm (siesta time). We sent our arrival time and then rang when no one was at the property. We were told that someone would be there in 10mins but no one turned up for over an hour (after another phone call). On arrival, the host didn't apologise, instead telling us pointedly that it was siesta time! The stairs are also quite steep so beware if you have heavy suitcases.
