CASA RURAL BUENAVISTA

It is a beautiful traditional house, well located at the east part of the island, slightly out of town, just what we were looking for. Amazing viewpoint in walking distance. The host was supper friendly, meet us at the house to give us the keys, and was flexible with the check-out hour. All in all fantastic experience.

Almost no cell reception and weak internet connection (however much better than at other housing options). This was no problem as we were looking to disconnect and mainly hike.

The house was AMAZING! It felt exactly like home, relaxing and joyful. It would be a house where us, as a couple, would definitely live. We loved the barbecue outside, the view, the position, and all the little things that we found inside the house which helped us live more comfortably during our stay.

Perfectly equipped house at a unique location. Hosts are providing some nice extras to make the stay as comfortable as possible.

Nicely old style rebuild house. Hostess with her toughters were nicely wellcoming me. Girls spoke even good english. House had everything I needed and was very clean. Surpricing calm even it is almost by the road. Good restaurant "La Pasada" in walking distance.

The house from inside was really cold when I arrived. There is fireplace downstairs in the combined living room kitchen area, but it takes couple of days when you finally get the downstairs somehow warm. There was enough burning wood and you really need it a lot. You have to constantly keep the fire on. Upstairs, where the bathroom and bedrooms are, don't warm up and there is no heating. There is a warm good blanket in the bed and the bed was good sleep. I sleep anyway better in cold.. Upstairs windows and doors were swollen form strong humidity, and were difficult to open or close. There is a slight mould flavour in downstairs. In the summer or when it is warmer, it would be different case. House is about at 600m height, which makes it also some degrees cooler. It would be easy to fix the heating issue with a heat pump.
