"Unfortunate as Booking.com had listed a bath which didn’t exist and the flooring was unfortunate."

1.0

A lovely cottage that the ladies had made very clean and cosy.

Unfortunately the shower flooded into the lounge below. We were subsequently told it was due to the neighbours drains. The owners agreed to refund us and we left but at great inconvenience as we had to find somewhere else that took dogs.

"Ok for a stop off but wouldn’t want to stay longer"

5.0

It was handy for the village.

It is very small. You have to park in a narrow street to unload then find somewhere to park. As it was dark when we arrived it was difficult unloading as there is no lighting in the alleyway. The heating had not been on and it wasn’t very warm and downstairs is quite cold. You can hear the neighbours quite clearly. We were left some milk but it was a week out of date so was off.

"Excellent little hideaway"

10.0

This cottage is a beautiful spot. Has everything you need for a perfect weekend away, coffee machine, a good grill for the bacon, comfy bed, powerful shower & Bluetooth speaker. Very pet friendly, even a little dog bed, towel and bowl which was a lovely touch. We stayed in on the Saturday night, cosy living room watching a film and plenty of glasses. Location wise, couldn't ask for better. A stone throw away from the lovely pubs, but hidden away in a courtyard so super quiet. Fantastic beer gardens near by, beautiful food and an ale bar. The nearby walks are beautiful, we did a local walk through the woods and along the river. On our second day we walked up Cautley Waterfall. I 100% will be back again!
