The location was nice and the cabin was cozy. Oversll everything worked well.

one of the dining table chairs was broken, and itvwas already broken a year ago. I reported it then nut im not sure if it was the same chair. There was no toilet paper at all or trash bagd provided and only a very limited number of dish washer tablets.

Good location. Well equipped. Board games.

Upper rooms became hot quickly.

Beautiful home right on the lake. Kids enjoyed playing in the snow around the house and down the hill. Lots of beds. Kids loved the mezzanine. As it is away from the main lights of Ruka, we were able to see the northern lights from the house

I had expected that on paying for the linen for the beds, that the beds would have been made. I didn’t expect to have to make them ourselves.

Liian vähän konetiskiainetta, roskapusseja ja wc-paperia. siivousliinat pitää merkitä. Wettex- rullaliina on parempi kuin tuo mikä oli. Pöytiä pyyhkeessä liina jäi märäksi. Piti kuivata puupintainen pöytä.

Oma laituri oli suuri plus, saunan jälkeen ihanaa käydä uimassa. Mökistä löytyi kaikki mitä tarvitsi, lautapeleistä plussaa. Sijainti todella hyvä, rauhallista mutta lähellä rukan palveluita.

Mökki on järven rannalla. Ympäristö on siisti. Mökki itsessään on tilava ja sinne mahtuu isompikin porukka oleilemaan... varsinkin jos vertaa Rukan alueen muihin mökkeihin. Lapset riemuitsivat illalla pihalle ruokailemaan tulleista poroista todella paljon.

We feel so lucky to have found this property. It looked much better in reality than in the pictures. We were so blessed that no one had been there the week before and it had snowed, so it was extra special having all the untouched snow around us. The cabin was far enough away from Ruka village to feel like we were out in the countryside, but close enough to be able to get into town. The cabin next door was empty most of the week so the only noise we heard were the snowmobiles going past on the lake which was thrilling to watch!! We chose this property due to the proximity of the lake and to Ruka Adventures which was only a 15 minute walk away. There is a bus stop 2 minutes away so could easily get into town, though the last one is about 7pm. We walked back a couple of nights and it was absolutely fine. The view from the window at sunset on the first day was something I will never forget. I imagine the cabin is equally as amazing to stay in during the summer with the jetty and patio area where you can bbq. We really wanted to use the fire but found the accomodation quite hot and didn’t want to have the bother of cleaning it. It was very well equipped with more or less everything we needed. The supermarket Sale is only a 20 minute walk away and very well stocked and not too expensive. We loved the sauna and the big TV was a nice bonus. The owner was very responsive and helpful and answered all my questions ahead of the trip! We really don’t think anyone would be disappointed with their stay here and we both fell in love with Finland!!

We would have preferred cleaning to have been incorporated into the price. The separate cleaning fee was quite high (something I missed at the point of booking) and it was stressful spending the last night and morning cleaning. We paid for bedding and as 2 adults were expecting to be given 2 lots of double bedding so we could sleep in the larger beds but were both given singles. We didn’t think to check in advance so that is a tip for future guests.
