Villa Kyyhkynen

Location- middle of the Forrest and 5 min walk to the outlook to see the northern light. Not much crowd. Perfect for snow play. Close to walking tracks and skiing tracks. Close to restaurants Fully equipped- incl clothes dryer for snow clothing in the hall; washer and dryer in the bathroom - great for families. Full kitchen allowed extra family meals. Kids loved entertainment area upstairs Sauna- was amazing! Newly renovated- loved the marimekko touches Fireplace. Snow equipment outside (kids sleighs)

The staircase is steep and not appropriate for small kids or elderly.

Nice location with woodland walks close to a lovely ski hotel and restaurant. Nice little area outside for children to sled . Villa very warm comfortable beds pillows etc . Christmas decorations nice touch . Few essentials in cupboards . Lots of towels and toilet rolls , hairdryer and iron .

Maybe some kitchen roll to wipe kitchen surfaces and table. Possibly an air fryer to save using the oven for cooking.

The location was excellent with a restaurant and Sky Hotel close by, as wonderful winder trails. We had rented a car for the week to explore Rovaniemi and its surroundings so the location was ideal.

Cosy, comfortable, everything you need! Nice coffee machine, perfect for a larger group. Great bed, really comfortable.

Fantastic chalet, fantastic location - walks from the door everyday and easy reach of surrounding attractions.

No wooden spoon for cooking - minor issues but bought my own.

Don’t hesitate to book Villa Kyyhkynen if you’re looking for a place to stay in Rovaniemi, and want the privacy of a villa as opposed to a hotel. The villa was perfect for our family of 5 and in beautiful location from where we could go for lots of lovely walks , yet convenient to go into city when needed. It was spotlessly clean, and well equipped in every way . And a very responsive owner!! Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

The house was perfect. Great location, peaceful in the woods but close to the city (car recommended). Spotlessly clean, cosy and warm. All facilities you need are included. Host was extremely helpful with information. We were travelling with a 2 year old and they included a highchair, potty, bathroom/kitchen step plus travel cot, all extremely useful and appreciated.

Quite a steep staircase. Just a note for elderly people or families with young children.
