Riihivuori Cottages

The cabin was both spacious and cosy.

There were no matches provided to start the fireplace. That's something they should have mentioned when registering. Also, though we tried to activate the sauna, it didn't seem to work, and there were no instructions given. For a winter cabin in Finland to fail on both these features is very disappointing. Perhaps, had we stayed more than one night we could have worked these issues out. Additionally, there was dried grated cheese on the cutting board and we found an empty bottle of vodka on the shelf, both of which should have been cleaned out before we arrived.

Excellent location in the forest next to the ski resourt. Cozy well equipped cottage.

Due to the terrible weather +2 - 0 the uphill road was extremly slippery. One night we could not get to the cottage and had to leave the car at the middle of the hill. In the cottage the toilet and sauna/bathroom door locks did not work, you could not lock the door. It is very uncomfortable when 4 persons of different gender lives together. The soat dispenser in the bathroom didnt work too.

The location is bit far from the main road yet it's kinda walkable distance... It is value for the money.. but the place should be bit more clean however it's not that bad.
