Upper Heath Farm - Stable Cottage Ludlow

Nothing was too much for their hoists they were warm and friendly but extremely professional. Plenty and freebies and extras, including a lovely chocolate cake and a bottle of wine. The decor was brilliant . Loved the Secret Garden.

Could have had a bit the skylight cover in the second bedroom as it letting in lots of light

The cottage was beautiful, warm and cosy. The host provided us with a welcome pack of wine, cake, butter and eggs which was such a lovely gesture. There was plenty of space to wander with the dog and a small courtyard to sit in in the evening.

A washing machine would have been a bonus.

Cottage was charming, particularly upstairs, and was well equipped. Rob provided loads of information pre arrival so all very organised.

The single lane road to the cottage was a bit of a pain.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Really well equipped. Lots of information prior to our arrival from the host, and the one query we had during our stay was answered promptly.

For a longer stay or if we were doing more outdoor activities in inclement weather we would have appreciated a washing machine.

Very peaceful stay, the garden area was just enough to sit and play games in, even though it’s not attached to the back/front door it was easy access and fine for our 5 year old and puppy to go back and forth. They have thought of every detail for you.

It was very sweet and very quiet

Not the property’s fault but too far from any shops for supplies /places to eat . Nearest shop was a good 25 minute drive. Also not suitable if two couples due to having to go through section bedroom to use the bathroom.

Awesome place, a serene farm but walkable to a great pub and with lots of things to do around. Rob was a very welcoming and accommodating host.

The property was just as described, enough room, decorated and furnished brilliantly with everything you would need. The cottage is also dog friendly, and extremely clean and well looked after. The host was amazing, super friendly and accommodating and let us feed his pet goats on the farm. There is also a farm dog, Teddy, who is also eager to meet you when you arrive. Extremely calm and relaxing stay, would happily stay here again. It’s a little gem if you want to have so rest and recovery.

The only slight inconvenience is that to access the bathroom/twin room you have to walk through the double bedroom, and the curtains in the master bedroom were slightly see through. However this was not a problem for us as we were staying as a family.
