Nothing - we had a great stay

It's a lovely cottage with ample space for a family of four and 2 dogs and grassed area for the dogs. The owner was very friendly and helpful through the booking process and during our stay and we were very grateful for the welcome pack of cake, milk and eggs awaiting us when we arrived.

Nothing really but as mentioned in other reviews, the access to the bathroom through the twin bedroom might not suit everyone and perhaps should be noted in the property description. But it was fine for our family. Perhaps a few more teaspoons would be useful.

The location was so peaceful, Rob the owner was very helpful and left us a lovely welcome pack. Teddy the dog was so gentle bless him. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated having plenty of parking for our 2 cars, the security was excellent and plenty of hot water. It's a beautiful part of the country and the cottage felt like a haven from daily life.

Equipment wise, a new set of pans including a new frying pan would make it better for self catering.

We liked the ease of parking and the lovely welcome pack.We liked the views and how lovely and quiet it was and of course the tail wagging welcome from Teddy the dog. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful and relaxing stay at Stable cottage.

We didn't like the very narrow country roads that led to the cottage, but that's not the host's fault. We didn't like the cockrell waking us up at 4:00 a.m. but that's not the host's fault either.

The kids loved the animals. It’s very off the beaten path which is a plus ( unless you have a child with travel sickness!)

All was lovely. We would have liked to meet our hosts but they made us feel very welcome and easy to check in.

I want to thank all those who reviewed the property as perfect for families. It was indeed perfect. I loved the quietness of the area. You can hear the birds singing. If you live in a busy area and want to disconnect from everything that's the way to go. You got all the facilities needed just bring your food and drink and relax... It's very clean, comfy, vintage. Too bad we stayed only one day.

We got nothing to complain.
