It was just stunning, never met any staff, key was in the door, and locked up leaving key in door. Had a fantastic few nights celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary ❤️

The hot tub was ready for arrival, and the space decor quality of furniture was just out of this world

"Just what was needed!"

Partridge Lodge was exceptionally clean and felt luxurious. It had everything you needed and was lovely and peaceful. Couldn't fault the lodge or hot tub in any way.

"Lovely spacious lodge for couple."

The Partridge lodge was lovely and very spacious inside. Good kitchen facilities, bed was extremely comfortable with lovely quality linens. Also the bath in the bedroom was a lovely touch, and a bit different. Shower was very powerful. Nice surroundings and also enjoyed the hot tub.

There was only one toilet roll provided for a two night stay. Also the water in the hot tub didn’t seem the cleanest and maybe needs more regularly changed and maintained. Outdoor area was a bit tired looking, lots of cobwebs, and the outside furniture was dirty and meant you couldn’t sit on it. We had our own camp chairs though and were able to use them to enjoy sitting outside. Easy fixed with a hose down and brush, maybe could do with new garden furniture.

"Would visit again!"

The place is beautiful. Very spacious and perfect for a weekend away. Peaceful setting. The place was super clean, had everything you needed. We got great weather so was lovely to sit out on the decking and spend time in the hot tub. Also some nice walks a short drive away.

The bed wasn't very comfortable which was a real shame. It's 2 single mattresses pushed together so the middle was very uncomfortable and also the pillows were so thin to sleep with.

"Lovely luxurious couples retreat."

The peaceful location and hot tub. Comfortable bed and large sitting room, luxury bath and shower.

Given the isolated location of the property it would have been helpful to have a couple of basic items supplied for cooking such as salt and pepper and cooking oil. The flies made the hottub less enjoyable (flies swarming our heads) but this might have been exacerbated by a heatwave that was happening and the location on a working farm.

"Immaculate spacious lodge"

Very spacious accommodation, very clean and comfortable, great shower, hot tub, kitchen has everything. Some lodges can feel quite cramped, but the space here is fantastic. Location is very peaceful

The lodge was a great size and beautiful inside. I would highly recommend for someone that is looking for a quiet weekend away.
