The fridge had an ‘off’ smell inside it and the bed in ‘Lucy’s Nest’ is a mattress on the floor and you have you climb up some steep ladders to access

The place is beautiful, quiet and isolated. If you crave to be away from the noise of cars, businesses and people, it’s an ideal retreat. The host, Diana, was lovely, friendly and very responsive. The cabin is pretty and cosy and equipped with the essentials like towels, bedding, plates, etc. We asked for extra bedding/pillows and our host complied promptly. We enjoyed looking at the farm animals and the birds, and overall the atmosphere was very enjoyable.

I should say we are city dwellers and not very used to rural life! Most of the things we struggled with were specified in the ad, so we should have read more carefully. There is no shower head (only bathtub) so if you want to wash your hair, you should be prepared to use the pasta pot for rinsing. :D The wood fire makes the cabin very cosy but with no alternative in case of little wind, we really froze one night. Also the equipment is very basic and some needed a clean, but that was probably more due to the previous guests. The WiFi was very poor, with a single router for all the cabins I would guess, so we could not use streaming services or anything like that.

Everything, cute and cosy . It had everything we needed. It was just marvellous and throughly recommend to anyone wanted a lovely break in beautiful surroundings. The weather didn’t matter as we could relax and create a lovely cosy stay with the wood burner. Diana was just lovely .

Nothing everything was perfect

We loved our stay. Fantastic location, lovely welcome and the lodge had everything that we needed. Great outdoor area for games and our little dog.

Cozy little cabin, nice funishings. Good base for lots of lovely beaches to walk on. Diana was very friendly.

Wasnt really too dog friendly, there was a little road directly behind the cabin which was quiet noisy at times, especially with 2 teenagers racing up and down it in an offroad buggy, l know its winter but the field ajacent to the cabin was too waterlogged to let our dog run around on it as we'd have had to bath her every 2 minutes,probably not as bad in summer.

A lovely cabin in a great location. Very cozy with the fire place and good amenities for every need. Nice and spacious with lovely and accommodating owners. Being able to take the cat was huge bonus too.

The sofa wasn't overly comfortable as it was a little dated but the futons we're great and the bed was comfy too.
