This was a very quiet, rural location. Ideal for a rest. Central location made all parts of the island easy to get to.

Just having a bath - a shower over the bath would have been ideal.

Loved everything: the wooden cabin, the comfort, the heating, the nature

Just a couple of spiders but we sorted them out with a quick hoover!

Sleeping arrangements, mould and poor maintenance of windows and doors. (Huge gaps around windows, that were jammed shut as the frames had dropped a number of times, doors with huge chunks missing at the bottom

Lovely cabins - kids loved it up in the attic beds, quiet countryside setting. Really friendly hosts.

Perhaps a bit far from amenities and beaches for us as a family group (but we knew it might be when we booked), but still only a 20-25 min drive to lovely beaches.

Perfect little spot, accommodation was exceptional, ideal location, everything we needed in the lodge .... absolutely loved it so quirky .... the bed in the loft makes it even more special, log fire .... so cosy. Robert met us when we arrived and we spent some time chatting about various topics, a nice balance between ensuring everything was okay and respecting our privacy throughout our 3 nights x

Peaceful and quiet. Well equipped cabins. Owners are lovely people who were very accomodating when we needed to check in early. Would definitely book again if returning to the area. The fact it was dog friendly made it even more ideal.

If staying in the summer, take some citronella candles as there were a lot of wasps which made sitting outside a bit uncomfortable and prevented us opening the doors to the cabin on very hot days.

Fully equipped, clean and fresh. Lovely log burner with logs and kindling provided. Beautiful secluded, tranquil location. Delightful, friendly hosts. Dog friendly. Great location for exploring the island.
