NZThe location in Truro was very good, an easy walk to supermarkets, pubs, shops and the cathedral. Truro is a good base for exploring Cornwall. The cottage had a lot of character and charm and the decor was well coordinated. The beds were very comfortable. It was good having a car park, even though access to it was a bit tight. Communication from the hosts was excellent- prompt and detailed.
There was nothing major but a few things could be improved. It felt a bit tired. There was nowhere sturdy to hang and dry used bathroom towels. There was no dish or rack for putting soap in the shower and the shower didn’t drain quickly enough so there was a risk of flooding the bathroom. When we first entered the property we straight away saw broken floor tiles which looked a bit shabby. It would be good to have a separate bin for recycling.

GBWell located in Truro city centre. Well equipped for what we needed. Comfortable seating, outdoor space, good kitchen.
Lack of clothes storage in second bedroom (for non-hanging items). Road outside quite noisy at night (but fine if you keep windows closed), parking signage slightly confusing with different markings on the ground and on the fence about where to park.
GBThe owners where lovely and it was very nice of them to let us check in a few hours early specially after a 6 hour long drive with a 2 year old, we really did appreciated it, Thank you. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable.
GBBeautiful Cornish cottage, good location to Truro town centre. Comfortable and homely and very comfortable beds. Private car park was nice when returning from a day out knowing that parking the car wouldn’t be an issue.
There wasn’t anything we personally disliked about the property.
